CoMotion
CoMotion is the world's largest motion design conference. As part of the animation team, I developed the motion language for typography, created logo loops and animated assigned shots for the main title sequence.

EVENT BRANDING
EVENT BRANDING

Arata is a vegan, plant-based wellness brand focused on chemical-free products. My task was to create videos and motion graphics for social media, ads, and e-commerce platforms that clearly reflected their clean, nature-first identity. The challenge was producing a steady flow of high-quality, on-brand content, from monthly sales campaigns to product launches, while adapting quickly to trends in the fast-moving beauty and wellness space.

Logo Loop BTS
Our creative directors kept returning to curiosity and exploration as metaphors to interpret the theme of this year's CoMotion - Beyond The Frame.
Science being a core pillar of our entire branding, the main logo immediately reminded me of how the Horse Shoe magnet pulls in all metallic particles towards itself, just how, we as artists, are constantly pulling in people, stories and environments into our practice.

The logo loop became an important branding asset across both digital and physical spaces.

Building Motion
Identity for Type
The typography motion language needed to be glitchy and robotic to stand in sharp contrast against the smooth, fluid dynamics of the title sequence. It became a way to visualize a system in motion: constantly calculating, glitching, experimenting, yet always grounded in logic and science.
We wanted the typography to carry a glitchy, almost robotic motion language, something that could stand in sharp contrast to the smooth, fluid dynamics of the title sequence. It became a way to visualize a system in motion: constantly calculating, glitching, experimenting, yet always grounded in logic and science.

After developing the motion language, I handed over the files to 6AM who developed an automated layer system to streamline the process, enabling us to scale across 20+ company titles within just a few days.
6AM and I also developed UI animations that helped establish the overall direction for type and UI for the title sequence.

Animating Light & Physics
I was handed over the Photoshop file for these two designs. I animated it to showcase devision of cells and how the clash pushes it to go to it's next phase of light energy.
